Everyone deserves a good time.

JSConf Korea strives to be an accessible and inclusive conference. Here, you can read about the services we provide and the environment in and around the conference space.

Conference Space

Our conference space consists of the lobby, auditorium, and two conference rooms.

from Coex facility information (http://www.coex.co.kr/blog/coex-facility-info/conference_south_4f)

Entering the lobby on the 4th floor, there will be a registration desk directly ahead of you, and bathrooms behind it. The walls to the left and right of the registration desk will be lined with sponsor booths. Across the booths, you will find resting areas for chatting, eating, and winding down.

To the right of the registration is room 401, an auditorium with 440 seats looking onto a stage. This is where the talks and performances will take place. There is an entrance on each side of the stage, with a ramp leading up to the entrance on the right.

Coming back to where we enter the lobby, to the left of the registration is room 402 and beyond it is room 403, both accessible from the hallway on the far left, along a glass wall. These rooms will be filled with round tables for community events.

To explore more visually, check out Coex’s 360 photos and videos.

Talks

The talks will be given in the auditorium (Room 401). All talks will be live interpreted to English and Korean, and live captioned thanks to Mozilla Foundation.

The captions may not be clearly visible at the back of the auditorium. If you need the captions, let us know in advance at contact@jsconfkorea.com and we will direct you to a seat close to the screen where live captions will be shown.

Noise, sound, and lights

Throughout the day there will be background music playing in the lobby. In the auditorium, there will be musical performances at the beginning and end of the conference. There may be some flashing lights during the performances.

The lobby may be crowded during break times since we expect to reach full capacity for the conference space. If you ever need some peace and quiet, head down to the 1st floor, step outside, and take a break at the Central Plaza.
